In accordance with our Code of Ethics and applicable legislation, we have established for you a secure and confidential channel for reporting possible violations – our internal reporting system.

This system enables you—whether you are our employee, client, user of the AreteApp platform, or another partner—to report conduct that could harm our company, its employees, customers, business partners, or the public interest. We appreciate your courage and willingness to help maintain high ethical standards.

• Prevention: Timely reporting can prevent damage, financial losses, or legal sanctions.
• Safety: You contribute to a safer and fairer working environment.
• Trust: You strengthen a culture of transparency and accountability.

You may report any suspicion of unlawful conduct that you became aware of in connection with your work, business cooperation, use of our services (including the AreteApp platform), or other contact with Umarutti s.r.o., and which:

• Shows signs of a criminal offence (e.g., theft, fraud, corruption).
• Shows signs of an administrative offence with an upper limit of the fine of at least CZK 100,000.
• Violates the Whistleblower Protection Act.
• Violates other legal regulations or EU regulations in areas such as:
  • Financial services and prevention of money laundering (AML).
  • Consumer protection.
  • Product safety.
  • Environmental protection.
  • Public procurement.
  • Personal data protection (GDPR).
  • Protection of competition.
• Violates our Code of Ethics (e.g., discrimination, harassment, conflict of interest, unethical sourcing).

If you wish to report unethical conduct or a breach of the law, you may use the following methods:

You may submit a report anonymously or provide your contact details. We will handle all information with the utmost confidentiality.

To enable us to investigate your report effectively, please provide as much relevant information as possible:

• A detailed description of the conduct you are reporting
• When and where the conduct occurred
• Who was involved (if known)
• Any evidence or documentation you have
• Names of any witnesses (if relevant)

Note: Even if you do not have all of this information, please submit your report. We will work with the information you provide.

Umarutti s.r.o. undertakes to protect all whistleblowers who submit a report in good faith from any retaliatory measures (e.g., dismissal, pay reduction, reassignment, harassment). Any retaliation is strictly prohibited and will be sanctioned.

Your identity (if you provide it) and the content of the report will be protected to the maximum extent possible. Only the Competent Person has access to reports and is bound by confidentiality. Information about your identity will not be provided to a third party without your explicit written consent, unless required by law.

Please note that protection does not apply to persons who knowingly submit a false report. Such conduct may be considered an offence.

Acknowledgement: Within 7 days of receiving your report, we will acknowledge its receipt (unless you have stated that you do not wish this, or if doing so would endanger your identity).

Investigation: The Competent Person will assess whether your report is substantiated. During this process, they may ask you for additional information.

Outcome: No later than 30 days from receipt of the report, we will notify you in writing of the outcome of the assessment. In complex cases, this period may be extended by up to 60 days (twice by 30 days), and you will be informed accordingly.
